DARE Disability Support has two Community Hubs located in the Blue Mountains. Each is unique in that they allow us to offer a large range of activities for indoors and outdoors.
DARE provides access for people with disabilities to a range of social and recreational activities in our hubs and in the Blue Mountains community. We can provide one-on-one support if needed and also offer group-based programs tailored to meet your personal needs and goals.
Community hubs are a safe and comfortable place for you to make friends, learn important life skills and feel comfortable whilst having lots of fun.
Our new Blaxland Hub is all about games and the outdoors, we have the BBQ and pool room facilities set up and ready to go - for all the pool sharks out there. Along with beautiful gardens which we grow our own vegetables.
DARE’s other Hub is located at Springwood where we have our workshops and head office located. This facility allows us to enjoy all the indoor activities including our sensory room, music room, computer room and our kitchen for life skills programs. This is also the main hub where our transport departs and returns to after each event.
DARE has over 10 buses that we use for all our events, so we have the wheels to get everyone around.
